MY FAVORITES
Our bodies use prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics. They are an important part of your daily diet. They introduce good gut bacteria into your microbiome.

PROBIOTICS
Some Carnivore probiotic foods include, keifer, and plain organic greek yogurt.

POSTBIOTICS
If you are low on postbiotics (low short-chain fatty acids and butyrate), sometimes you can have problems with your weight or your metabolism. A good source of postbiotics is grass-fed butter. If you have an intolerance to dairy, then the best option would be to use ghee butter, which is also called clarified butter. It does not contain casin like regular butter and won’t cause gut issues. It is actually healing for the gut. Either butters can help your body produce butyrate.

PROBIOTIC TIPS
Probiotic supplements that can help fill in the gaps include PB8, NOW Acidophilus, CODEAGE SBO PROBIOTIC, and Dr. Axe Woman’s, men’s, and Gut Restore SOB Probiotics. SBO stands for soil based organisms. They are resistant to heat, bile, and stomach acid. For you to get the most benefit out of your probiotic supplements, it is best to switch between a couple of different brands. Once you finish one bottle, then switch to another. This introduces new gut microbes into your microbiome and helps keep your gut happy.
