EAT RIGHT

Good nutrition starts with a well-balanced diet of meat.

Processed and packaged foods can be detrimental to your diet. They can contain ingredients that have been enriched and bleached or, worse, hydrogenated. It is very important to read the ingredients list before you eat anything. If it has a laundry list of ingredients, then it’s a good idea not to consume it. Take a look at the Grass-Fed Hotdogs food label below. The organic ingredients label has Organic Beef, water & spices in the ingredients. Other brand hotdogs have ingredients like hydrogenated vegetable oil, corn solids or starch, high fructose corn syrup, and sugar. These are heavy offenders which cause inflammation in your body. Are are not easily digested causing gut pain and damage. You can see by the organic ingredients that these other ingredients are not necessary to make this product. Making the organic option the healthier choice.

EAT EGGS

Pasture raised eggs are a great source of protein. When chickens eat what they are supposed to, you get the most nutrients out of your eggs. Like vitamin D.

Over the years, eggs have gotten a bad wrap. They have become the breakfast villain. Some studies have shown that they are high in cholesterol. Our bodies make 75% of cholesterol we have inside of us and the rest we get from food. Some studies show that eggs are good for you and that men need cholesterol to naturally produce the hormone testosterone. Who is right? I suppose it depends on who is funding these studies.
