FITNESS CHALLENGE

ONLY GAINS

This is TANK. This is the sled I pull back and forth across a basketball court at my gym for ten minutes a day. I’ve been using this as my preferred method of cardio. It was inspired by ATG #kneesovertoes Ben Patrick.

Meet TANK

It’s been almost a year since I started pulling TANK. In the beginning, my goal was to gain strength in my weak knees. Since then, I have gained so much more than I expected. I have built muscle in my hamstrings, quads, and my vastious medialus obliques (VMO) muscles. My legs are stronger than they have ever been in my life at age 41.

Perseverance will be rewarded.

GOING THE DISTANCE

Don’t be intimidated! Starting with 15 minutes a day can make a difference. Exercise can help lower stress levels and improve our mood. You will definitely start to feel better, wanting to build your time up and do more. Stretching is a good starting point, and then go for a brisk walk. It may turn into a slow jog. Keep it up and go the distance. You will feel better, and your body will love you. You aren’t doing this for only yourself. It helps make you a better mom for your children and a better wife for your husband.
