HIDING VEGGIES

Sometimes, kids can be picky eaters. All my younger kids want to eat is yogurt and berries. Which is good for getting their pre and probiotics. But what about a healthy meal with protein and veggies? Besides Kidz Superfood powder, spaghetti is one of my kiddos’ all-time favorites meals. Grass-fed beef is a great source of protein, and the marinara sauce is a good place to hide more veggies. Here’s what to do! Steam carrots, let them cool a bit and blend them into a puree. Then, pour the carrots into your favorite marinara sauce while cooking.  Shhh, they will never know. This also works well with canned pumpkin, and then they get extra potassium from food. Make sure you get plain pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie in a can, or this may not work very well. Lol.
